First-Session Route

Anime Astral Simulator Beginner Guide

A tight first-session checklist — what to claim, where to spend, and which mistakes to skip — so your opening hour in Anime Astral Simulator actually moves you forward instead of resetting you.

First 10 Minutes

  1. 1Boot the game, finish the tutorial fight, and accept your starter fighter without rerolling — early rerolls almost always under-perform.
  2. 2Open the Codes menu and redeem every confirmed code on the Codes page; the launch bundle alone pays for several World 1 attempts.
  3. 3Pop one XP potion and one Damage potion before the first World 1 boss so the fight doubles as a level milestone.
  4. 4Defeat Sabuza to flag World 1 as in-progress, then immediately head to Tobi and Kisame — they share scaling with your fresh buff.
  5. 5Bank Yen, do not spend it in the lobby shop yet — the better purchases unlock after Pain is down.

First-Session Priorities

Codes first, always

Free tickets and potions are the highest return-on-time action in the game. Skipping codes to "go fast" is the most common reason new players reset.

One fighter, fully fed

Pick a single starter fighter and pour upgrades into it. Spreading XP across three fighters is the silent reason runs stall around Madara.

Pick a target, not a tab

Decide before each session: code check, World 1 push, or fighter upgrade. Sessions that try to do all three rarely finish any of them.

Common Mistakes

  • Rerolling the starter fighter before clearing Kisame — the starter pool is intentionally strong through mid-World 1.
  • Hoarding tickets "for later" instead of redeeming current codes — codes expire silently and saved tickets do not compound.
  • Burning all potions in one fight to brute-force Madara — split them across two attempts to keep the buff window alive.
  • Buying lobby shop items before Pain is down — the better stock unlocks afterwards and the early items are mostly a Yen sink.
  • Treating community-reported codes as guaranteed — try them, but plan around the confirmed list.

Beginner FAQ

Should I reroll my first fighter?

No. The starter pool is balanced for the entire World 1 push. Reroll only after Madara is down — by then you will know which archetype your style actually rewards.

How long is the first real session?

A clean first session — codes, World 1 progression, and a quality fighter upgrade — runs about 45 to 60 minutes. Anything faster usually skips the code claims that fund the next session.

When should I start the tier list?

Only after your first World 1 clear. Before that, the starter fighter is doing most of the lifting and the tier list will pull you into rerolls that waste resources.

Once the first-session checklist is done, head to Worlds for the boss order and Codes for top-ups before the next push.
